About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analyst - CAE Engineer to join our team at Belcan Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing structural analyses using advanced CAE tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform structural analyses using NX NASTRAN and/or Altair suite of FEA tools to ensure the integrity and safety of our products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new CAE methodologies and tools.
  3. Research and evaluate new automotive technologies and their potential applications in our products.
  4. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers to ensure timely and effective delivery of CAE services.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAE software applications and methodologies.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in Engineering, preferably in a field related to CAE or automotive engineering.
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience in CAE field, preferably in the automotive, defense, or aerospace industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of CAE software applications, including FEA, vehicle dynamics, and automotive performance.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced University degree in a field related to CAE or automotive engineering.
  2. Familiarity with NX NASTRAN, Altair suite of FEA tools, ADAMS, MATLAB, and Hypermesh.
  3. Experience with heavy off-road vehicles engineering and defense design standards.
  4. Knowledge of Glyphworks and professional certification as a Professional Engineer (PEO) or eligibility to become P.Eng.
