Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Expert to join our team at Advantage Personnel. In this role, you will work closely with clients to ensure accurate tax filings while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance with tax laws.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare individual and small business tax returns in accordance with tax laws and regulations.
2. Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
3. Assist clients with understanding their tax obligations and ensuring timely filings.
4. Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents and records to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax purposes.
5. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain expertise in this area.
6. Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
7. Collaborate with clients to resolve tax issues or disputes with local and federal authorities.
8. Perform additional tax-related tasks as required by the company.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax preparation or tax advisory services.
2. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software applications.
6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
