Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including managing staff and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Provide diabetes counseling, training, and education to patients
  • Work collaboratively with endocrinologists and other clinic colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Manage and train other pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacy students
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and provincial and federal pharmacy regulations
Requirements:
  • Interest in helping people with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing
  • OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing
  • OCP Injection Certification – current certification and first aid
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of Ontario pharmacy practice and diabetes education experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Must have previous retail pharmacy experience
  • Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset
