Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAKUNTHALA CATERING INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The physical demands of the job are high, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
