Amazon S3 Software Development Engineer, Delivering High Availability and Scalability

About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer in the S3 Distribution Plane team at Amazon, you will play a key role in designing and delivering services that power businesses across the globe. Your responsibilities will include developing tools to streamline operations, influencing operational excellence, and recommending best practices for maintaining and improving code quality, fleet health, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering services that meet the exacting standards of our customers
- Maintaining operational health of our services and build & release systems
- Ensuring maximum up-time for our developers and customers
- Coaching and mentoring junior engineers
- Participating in design reviews, operations meetings, and leadership discussions
- Partnering with service teams across AWS to build ground-breaking solutions
About You
We are looking for exceptional software development professionals who have 3+ years of experience in non-internship professional software development, including experience programming with at least one software programming language. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is also required. If you are passionate about building complex software systems and delivering high-quality solutions, we encourage you to apply.
