Income Tax Manager

Minto Group is seeking a highly skilled Income Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax function, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely income tax filings, as well as providing strategic tax guidance to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Canadian tax returns for corporations, trusts, partnerships, and UHTs
  • Manage and monitor Minto Apartment REIT's mutual fund trust and REIT status
  • Prepare annual returns for foreign reporting in Canada (T1134, T106, Country by Country Reporting, and Pillar II reporting)
  • Assist in calculation of EIFEL and Global Minimum Tax
  • Continually improve and streamline the tax compliance process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a complex business environment or CA firm
  • Minimum 2 years specializing in corporate income tax
  • Real Estate tax knowledge and solid understanding of Canadian tax
  • Experience in preparing consolidated corporate tax provisions under IFRS
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
