Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Kenora Truck Service Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy trucks and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
- Automotive Service Licence (310S) and Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T).
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment. The ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods is required.
