Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Kenora Truck Service Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
  • Repair and replace defective parts, including hydraulic and transmission systems.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems.
  • Provide on-site services and perform repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, and radiators.
  • Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Licence (310S)
  • Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Physically demanding work environment

  • Handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced mechanics. The work site environment is dusty and noisy.

Hours:
