About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lawtons Drugs in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners, ensuring completeness and authenticity
  • Provide injections and vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Conduct final checks of prepared prescriptions and confirm accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
Requirements
  • Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
