Job Summary

Vantage Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Family Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our youth services team, you will provide support and guidance to children and families in need, promoting healthy relationships and community connections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to children and families, addressing their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote healthy relationships, life skills, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust support plans as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or child and youth care.
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in a group home or residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to client-centered practice.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
