Job Summary

Vantage Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team. As a key member of our group home support team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs.
  • Administer life skills workshops and provide individualized support to clients.
  • Assess client skills and development needs, and implement strategies to address these.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with adolescents and in group home settings is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
