Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at J and K Heating Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations. This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Plumber Trade Certification.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical abilities, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, and good judgement.
  • Team player with a green job focus.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The work involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
