Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team in La Macaza, QC. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electronic systems, as well as providing technical support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electronic systems, including testing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including answering questions and resolving issues related to electronic systems.
- Inventory Management: Perform annual inventory checks of electronic security systems, their major components, and major spare parts.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on maintenance and repair activities, as well as any issues or anomalies encountered.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, management, and other team members to ensure that technical information is shared and understood.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a college degree from a technology program or equivalent.
- Experience: Combination of education and experience with a proven ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Skills: Knowledge of communications in GP test equipment, commercial and personal computers and their peripherals, as well as MS Office Suite software experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Network+ an asset. Working at heights (Fall Arrest), First Aid, Confined Space, and WHMIS certifications are considered assets.
- Language: French essential; bilingualism an asset.
