About the Role
WestRock is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions. We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide technical assistance to resolve various operational and repetitive issues in your assigned sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with personnel in your sector to identify and resolve technical issues
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime
- Participate in project development, continuous improvement, and health and safety initiatives
- Assist in supervising, planning, and managing production/maintenance activities
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Be a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or in the process of becoming one
- Have strong prioritization skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Exhibit dynamism, autonomy, and rigor
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
