Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor

At Shermco, we are seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor to join our electrical operations team in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will provide electrical and instrumentation leadership and services to our clients, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
- Construct, install, alter, repair, and test all electrical power and control components, instruments, devices, and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical power and control systems
- Work around energized power and control equipment
- Determine the appropriate selection of materials, tools, and equipment and coordinate with management in support of procurement efforts
- Ensure maintenance, quality, and test reports and documentation are completed and filed
- Review and maintain understanding of all project-related drawings, scopes, and technical documentation
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of assigned crews
- Coach and mentor team members to support personal and team performance improvements
- Perform quality field audit/inspection activities to meet internal and external KPIs
- Work with client representatives and Shermco Electrical Services management team throughout the course of the assignment/project
Requirements:
- Red Seal Interprovincial Electrician and/or Instrumentation & Controls Journeyperson certificate
- 5+ years of experience in electrical and/or instrumentation commissioning
- 5+ years of experience in supervision and possess strong leadership qualities
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean abstract
- Availability to work out-of-town and regular overnight travel
