Food Service Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our Compass Group Canada team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demands
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring timely and accurate service
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and execution
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company
