Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydroponics Grower to join our team at Mucci Farms. As a key member of our greenhouse production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hydroponic crop production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the health and productivity of our hydroponic crops, including cucumbers, greenhouse tomatoes, and greenhouse vegetables.
  • Develop and implement effective crop management strategies to ensure optimal yields and quality.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control reported insect, disease, and weed problems to prevent their spread and minimize their impact on crop production.
  • Establish and maintain required environment conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting levels, to optimize crop growth and development.
  • Order materials and stock as needed to support crop production and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of crop production activities.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hydroponic crop production or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a greenhouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
