Job Title: Flooring Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at FM Floors & More Renovations Ltd. As a key member of our renovation crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality flooring solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, ensuring precise cuts and smooth finishes.
  • Prepare and clean work surfaces, including walls, floors, and ceilings, to ensure proper adhesion and even coverage.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, sealants, and other products as needed to complete installations.
  • Cut and shape materials to fit around obstacles, using hand and power tools as required.
  • Pack and remove excess materials, grout, and debris from installation sites.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and queries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in flooring installation or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with various flooring materials and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:
