Flooring Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Veer & Sons Flooring Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient floor coverings, and carpet.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with flooring materials.
  2. Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
  3. Prepare flooring plans and schedules to meet client deadlines.
  4. Install hardwood floors, resilient floor coverings, and carpeting on floors.
  5. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain their quality.
  6. Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  7. Prepare floors for installations by cleaning and preparing the surface.
  8. Perform direct glue-down carpet installations.
  9. Install outdoor carpets in residential and commercial settings.
Requirements:
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
  • No prior experience is required, but it's an asset.
