Job Title: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Williams & Partners Chartered Professional Accountants LLP. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze clients' financial records to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
