Job Title: Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Williams & Partners Chartered Professional Accountants LLP.

Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for analyzing clients' financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures, and preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and Caseware/Caseview
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
