Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at NuView Radiology and Ultrasound. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients to produce images of internal organs and tissues.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Abdominal sonography, obstetrical and gynecological sonography, peripheral vascular sonography, adult echocardiography, and pediatric echocardiography.
