Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at NuView Radiology and Ultrasound. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including abdominal, obstetrical, and vascular sonography
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (CSDMS)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a diagnostic medical sonography setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
