Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Technician to join our team at OpenRoad Hyundai Richmond. As a Licensed Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts and ensure timely delivery
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Advise Service Advisors of any additional work needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
- Complete and maintain documentation of work performed
- Participate in factory-sponsored training classes and stay up-to-date on technical bulletins
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and the shop area is neat and safe
- Automotive Service Technician, fully licensed
- 2-3 years experience with automotive mechanical operations
- Valid Canadian driver's license and ability to provide driver's abstract for review
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed
- Team-oriented, hardworking, and positive attitude
