Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Earthworks Construction Manager to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Direct and supervise construction crews to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Collaborate with safety advisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Develop and implement effective organizational structures to optimize construction processes.
  • Lead and train general foremen, foremen, and other field staff to promote maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, with a strong background in earthworks construction.
  • 3-5 years of experience in earthworks construction, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong computer skills, with experience working with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel) and proprietary software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficient English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate.
  • WHMIS 2015 certification.
  • Ground Disturbance Level II certification.
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence certification.
