Job Title: Developmental Support Worker

Front Line Health Care is seeking a qualified Developmental Support Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Support Worker, you will provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in life planning sessions to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Implement life skills programs to enhance daily living skills and independence
  • Provide tailored support and personal care to individuals, including medication administration and crisis response
  • Liaise with friends and family to address needs and share information
  • Support life skills training and provide emotional support to individuals on a one-on-one or group basis
  • Maintain documentation and ensure a high standard of living for individuals supported
Requirements:
  • Valid DSW Certificate
  • Criminal Police Background Check (valid within the year)
  • CPR First Aid Certification
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention and Intervention OR SMG - Safe Management Certificate
  • Up-to-date immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccination
