Concrete Craftsmanship Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at RCT Constructions.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on concrete structures. Key tasks include:
- Inspecting formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials to ensure compliance with specifications;
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish;
- Preparing quotations and tenders for clients;
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surfaces according to grade and depth specifications;
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures as required;
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect against damage;
- Waterproofing, damp proofing and restoring surfaces to their original condition;
- Repairing, resurfacing and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in concrete finishing;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps and specifications;
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
