Ironworker Specialist

Job Summary:

The Ironworker Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of West Edmonton Mall's Attractions. This role requires a strong background in structural steel installation, fabrication, and hoisting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular structural inspections of all rides in the Galaxyland Amusement Park.
  • Fabricate and install steel structures throughout West Edmonton Mall.
  • Perform corrosion maintenance on steel structures at the World Waterpark.
  • Paint, refurbish, and maintain all steel structures at the World Waterpark.
  • Maintain and refurbish all water slides at the World Waterpark.
  • Operate aerial platform equipment during mall operations and assist various departments with tasks and duties.

Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyman/woman Ironworker certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) - four (4) years-experience in the Ironwork field.
  • Excellent background in structural steel installation, fabrication, and hoisting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and pass a basic security clearance.

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time temporary position, Monday through Friday.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
