Job Summary:

Instrumentation and Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test instrumentation and control systems for nuclear fuel handling and reactor control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare technical documents, including design specifications, test procedures, and commissioning plans.
  • Perform site visits and walk-downs to gather information and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present technical data to internal and external customers, including design reviews and customer review meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control/Automation or related discipline Engineering.
  • Current PEO license or working towards obtaining it.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design engineering for nuclear, aerospace, transportation, oil and gas, mining, or other highly regulated and process-based industries.
