Wholesale Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wholesale Establishment Manager to join our team at Seafresh Products Distributors Inc.
Job Summary:The Wholesale Establishment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our wholesale establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing staff, assigning duties, and evaluating daily operations to identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the wholesale establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Regularly evaluate the performance of the wholesale establishment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and manage staff, assigning duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Study Market Research and Trends: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, taking into account market research and trends.
- Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement price and credits policies to ensure that the wholesale establishment is competitive and profitable.
- Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise: Source and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets the needs of the wholesale establishment.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the wholesale establishment and increase sales.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the wholesale establishment is profitable.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Determine the staffing requirements of the wholesale establishment, ensuring that there are sufficient staff to meet the needs of the business.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate the performance of staff and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
