Job Description

Luxoft is seeking a skilled Trade Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for trading-related issues, working closely with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trading groups in the US and UK.
  • Communicate trading infrastructure and platform status to trading staff and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in automating processes to achieve efficiency and streamlined trade support.
  • Document and create new knowledge base to provide effective solutions to trading issues.
  • Deploy, support, and monitor internal trading systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal application owners, infrastructure owners, and tech support to ensure trading platforms are correctly installed, configured, and tested.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and equities background.
  • High-level understanding of financial instruments, including swaps, options, and futures.
  • Accounting and PNL knowledge, with a focus on equities.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with front-office applications, including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, and MarketAxess.
  • Technical experience in application support, with a focus on order flow management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Understanding of ITIL methodology.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in SQL and scripting languages, including Python and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux platforms and command-line interfaces.
  • Understanding of XML and FpML data formats.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of databases and associated structures.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of Fix Messaging protocol and setting up FIX connections.
  • Settlement process knowledge.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Java applications support.
  • Cloud platform experience, particularly with AWS.
