Bitfarms Ltd is a global leader in the cryptocurrency mining industry, seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to support its growth and development.

As a Corporate Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and support to business units across Canada, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Your expertise in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulations will be essential in navigating complex transactions and agreements.

You will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement effective corporate governance practices and policies, ensuring the company's continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day legal advice to business units in Canada
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on various corporate law issues
  • Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating corporate documents, including contracts and shareholder agreements
  • Assisting in the execution of corporate transactions, including due diligence and closings
  • Supporting the department and coordinating with external lawyers on various corporate legal matters

Requirements include:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in law from a Canadian university
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably with a corporate and business law firm and/or a Canadian publicly-traded or international company
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English, with Spanish as an asset
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
