Salary


The salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.


Job Description



  • Establish efficient work methods to meet demanding schedules and deadlines
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of food service staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Determine ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
  • Select and hire qualified food service staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
  • Maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Prepare budget estimates and monitor expenses, ensuring financial accountability
  • Compile and submit accurate reports, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring seamless service

Work Environment


This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, often standing for extended periods and engaging in physical activity. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, think critically, and remain calm under pressure.


Requirements



  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service supervision or management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting principles
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
