Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled R&D Operator III to join their team on a 5-month contract basis. This is an on-site position, working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Monitor and update supplies required for R&D Light labs operation to ensure an uninterrupted supply for experimental work.
- EH&S Initiatives: Assist with chemical inventory control and participate in inspections to maintain a safe and healthy laboratory environment.
- Experimental Support: Assist with performing experiments, including cartridge testing, to support R&D projects and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and interface with various stakeholders related to laboratory management, requiring flexibility and effective workload management.
- Work Efficiency: Handle a large amount of work efficiently and effectively, ensuring accuracy in all relevant aspects.
- Safety and Health: Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of safety and health procedures as they relate to the human resources of the organization.
- Adaptability: Effectively adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and sudden or frequent changes in priority to accomplish objectives.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working within a laboratory setting.
- Adaptability and Independence: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Work Efficiency and Accuracy: Ability to handle a large amount of work efficiently and effectively, and work accurately and precisely.
- Safety and Health: Adheres to and advocates for the highest safety standards, and ability to train peers on new procedures or processes.
- Knowledge and Skills: Proficient with Office Suite applications, experience working with analytical equipment, and experience working within a regulated laboratory environment are assets.
