The client is a high-rise residential developer with a successful track record of delivering complex projects throughout southern Ontario. With an extensive project pipeline, they are seeking a skilled professional to lead their development projects.
Job Description
In collaboration with senior management, the successful candidate will define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with the company's business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing project plans and associated communications documents
* Estimating resources and personnel required to achieve project goals
* Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes as necessary
* Assessing the need for additional staff and/or consultants and liaising with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel
* Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
* Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
* Tracking project milestones and deliverables
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant full-cycle high-rise residential experience in a construction environment, preferably in Canada. They should have a solid background in preparing and administering consulting and construction agreements, as well as knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Additional duties may be required.
