Dairy Queen Alberta Inc is seeking a highly organized and accurate Financial Operations Associate to join our team.

This role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year based on location and experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Operations Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.
  • Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Preparing statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required by management.
  • Assisting with tax returns and trial balance of books.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
