As a highly entrepreneurial and self-made founder leads the company, a team of capable executives across business units operates globally with interests in the US, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean.

We are a fast-growing family office, managing a diversified portfolio of investments, including wholly owned operational companies in manufacturing, technology, real estate, private equity, and venture capital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a world-class finance function that provides actionable financial reporting, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
  • Lead the finance/accounting function strategically and hands-on, communicating data and ideas succinctly.
  • Manage day-to-day financial activities, including planning, implementing, and controlling all financial-related activities.
  • Hire and lead international and domestic finance direct reports, ensuring documentation, deadlines, and KPIs are met.
  • Implement and maintain a sophisticated multi-company and country corporate structure.
  • Oversee global full-cycle accounting and reporting, and build a seamless integration of a global banking infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance and leadership over key projects and initiatives, and optimize the corporate ERP system.
  • Oversee financial reporting across multiple business unit entities, and facilitate annual financial statement audits.
  • Manage the objectives, goals, and development of the Finance team.
Requirements
  • MBA or similar degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as head of finance (VP Finance / CFO) in a growing organization.
  • ~5 years experience operating accounting in complex structures with a minimum of 40 entities globally.
  • Proven expertise with construction and land development projects, global accounting and tax experience, and experience with PCAOB audits and IPO processes.
