Job Description

At Queen City Glass (1961) Ltd., we seek a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to install replacement glass in existing products and systems, as well as perform various glazing tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install replacement glass in existing products and systems.
  • Install showers, glass railings, mirrors, glass screens, etc.
  • Install glazing systems, curtain wall, storefront, and doors.
  • Install PVC windows and doors.
  • Repair and service residential and commercial aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass and faulty sealant.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure, and materials required.
Requirements
  • Reliable, hard-working, willing to learn.
  • Organized, attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass Criminal Record check.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, and positive attitude.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work with man lifts, ladders, and scaffolds.
Preferred Qualifications

A broad range of glazier's skills and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience are preferred.

Work Environment

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with competitive wages based on experience ($27.00 - $34.00 per hour), medical and dental benefits, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.
