Restaurant Service Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Smitty's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide menu recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Table Management: Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and wait times to ensure efficient service.
- Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate records.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with standing for extended periods and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, and team player.
- Gratuities: Opportunities for gratuities and bonuses.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a minimum of 15-30 hours per week.
