About Us

NGE Canada, an affiliate of the NGE Group, a leading construction company based in France.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Cost Manager to join our international team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience in overseeing project budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction, and implementing effective cost control measures.

Job Description:
  • Determine project cost accruals for each month.
  • Prepare SIL (Work Cost - Work Internal Progress) summaries for subcontractors and transfer them to SAP Finance module.
  • Oversee submittals to Cost Control and Project Controls for the SIL (production) based on quantities tracked on site for self-performing activities and subcontractor progress.
  • Meet with Contracts and Construction Managers to determine additional budget requirements or change orders.
  • Prepare payment certificates for all subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party service providers while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of labor and equipment hours cross-checked with submitted documents and Procore/PM software entries.

You will work closely with our procurement and contracts teams to ensure timely issuance of change orders and manage commercial contracts effectively.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in surveying for construction.
  • Engineering degree in Surveying or Geomatics.
  • Strong knowledge of survey practices and standards, including robotic total stations, GPS, and other survey instruments.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as R Blueprints, AutoCAD, BlueBim, and ERP software knowledge.
  • Involvement in at least one LRT-related project is preferred.
