Westcreek Homes Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to lead our design and drafting department.

We are looking for a responsible self-starter to help us manage our growing client base and oversee the creation of high-quality architectural designs and AutoCAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales to determine pocket sizes and garage orientations for residential projects
  • Review and adjust grades, ensuring accurate and efficient construction
  • Verify truss and joist layouts for accuracy and add pad and beam pocket sizes to foundation plans
  • Apply knowledge of the Alberta Building Code to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the residential industry
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
