Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Millwright to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with equipment installations and upgrades to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be a fully licensed Industrial Millwright with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&ID's, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
