Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Millwright to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections and identify potential problems to prevent equipment failure.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance supervision to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of new equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Must be a fully licensed industrial millwright with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&ID's, and other technical documents.
  • Proficient in the use of CMMS (SAP) software.
