Job Summary

GARRY MECHANICAL INC. is seeking a skilled Gas Technician to join our team. As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install gas heating units and their components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Service gas heating units and their components, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators, as well as gas lines between gas units and gas meters.
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms, checking pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
Requirements
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Permanent employment, 35-40 hours per week, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
