Cristina Gabriel is seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Caregiver to provide exceptional care for children in the comfort of their own home.
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires a high level of responsibility, reliability, and emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all family members.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and ironing, to maintain a tidy and comfortable living space.
- Shop for food and household supplies, planning and preparing nutritious meals for the family.
- Travel with the family on trips, providing supervision and care for children during outings.
- Care for pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive regular attention.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and respect.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, identifying potential hazards and taking steps to mitigate risks.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting physical and mental well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming routine.
- Supervise and care for children, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering empathy and understanding when needed.
- Help children with homework, providing assistance and guidance to promote academic success.
- Must be organized and reliable, with excellent time management skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike.
- Initiative and judgment are important, with the ability to make decisions and take action as needed.
- Flexibility is required, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Patience and time management skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- A salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year is estimated, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
