Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at Evelyn Serrano. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Family Caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care, household management, and companionship to our clients. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as preparing meals and managing household chores.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Prepare meals and manage household chores
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Assist with medication management
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience in caregiving or a related field is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic
Working Conditions:

The Family Caregiver will work in a home-based setting, providing care and support to our clients in their own homes. This role requires a high level of physical and emotional stamina, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
