Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for Category, Operations, Promo, and Capital teams.
- Provide analytical support to drive sales, share, and profit growth.
- Support the development of category-specific strategies and associated tactics.
- Conduct reviews of the competitive landscape and category deep dives.
- Track and evaluate market share results to evaluate category strategies.
- Develop tangible metrics to measure success of strategic initiatives.
- Create reports and conduct large data set analysis.
- Design and develop program/project presentations to key executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience required.
- Post-secondary undergraduate (finance, economics, commerce, engineering) and/or graduate education (MBA) preferred.
- Retail Operations experience and a knowledge of the LCL Enterprise, including support functions, strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to a room of senior executives.
- Knowledge of Loblaw systems, data sources, and metrics is an asset.
- Comfortable with data analytics and the ability to derive actionable insights.
