Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Richmondhill South.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
  • Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Accurate and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
