Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Ontario Tarp & Trailer Systems Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport vehicles to identify and repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with commercial transport vehicles.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair services on commercial transport vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including communicating repair estimates and timelines, and advising on future maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to work overtime as required.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
