Job Description

Shayera is seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Your primary focus will be on the physical, emotional, and social development of the children in your care.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Help children with homework.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Valid driver's licence.
Work Environment

The Home Childcare Provider will work in a non-smoking environment and will be required to provide programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The work setting will be in the employer's home, where room and board will be provided.
